I've had a bit of a rough start, but I'm still a playful, cheeky boy with a big heart and a lot of love to give.
I was surrendered to the pound when my mum couldn't keep me anymore as she already had three dogs. Through no fault of my own, I ended up on the PTS list, and my future looked very uncertain. Thankfully, Pawkala Animal Welfare stepped in and rescued me just in time.
I've now been living in kennels for nearly six months, and while I'm safe, I'd really love a forever home of my own. I'd suit being the only dog in the home, where I can get all the attention (I promise I'll make you laugh with my goofy, cheeky ways). I haven't been fully tested with other dogs just yet, so slow introductions would be best if needed.
I'm more than my past--I'm loyal, fun, and ready to belong. If you're looking for a special companion who will keep life light and full of love, I might just be your boy.

Adoption details
At Pawkala Social Welfare Organisation, the welfare and long‑term safety of our animals is our highest priority. To ensure the best possible outcomes, we follow a careful and considered adoption and foster process.
All prospective adopters and foster carers are required to complete our Adoption or Foster Application Form. This helps us understand your lifestyle, experience, and the environment you can offer, so we can make the best match for both you and the animal.
As part of our process, we conduct home checks. This may be done:
In person, or
Via videos and photos of the home, including yards, fencing, and living areas.
All adoptions and foster placements are approved subject to ongoing animal welfare. Pawkala reserves the right to reclaim the animal at any time if neglect, mistreatment, or significant welfare concerns are identified.
All animals adopted or fostered through Pawkala must be desexed.
Animals adopted already desexed must remain so.
If an animal is adopted prior to desexing due to age or medical reasons, desexing is mandatory at the agreed time as part of the adoption conditions.
Our goal is not just placement, but lifelong safety and stability. We work closely with adopters and foster carers to provide guidance and support, and we encourage open communication at all times.
