About Alice
Meet Alice.
Alice is what happens when you combine the elegance of a supermodel with the impulse control of a toddler who's just had six espresso shots.
This stunning Greyhound is friendly, outgoing, confident, and absolutely thrilled to be involved in everything at maximum enthusiasm. She approaches life head first, heart open, and occasionally sideways at speed. If you are looking for a calm, delicate little flower of a dog, Alice respectfully suggests you continue your search elsewhere.
Alice loves people and has a huge personality. She's boisterous, excitable, and incredibly social, with the kind of extroverted energy that makes it feel like she's hosting her own party at all times. She is strong on lead and can be erratic when excited, which is often, because existing is exciting.
When meeting other dogs, Alice's social skills can best be described as "overly committed." She enjoys prolonged sniffing, gets very enthusiastic, and can be rough or rude in her interactions because personal space is apparently a concept for other people.
Alice has absolutely no spatial awareness whatsoever. Coffee tables, knees, walls, your general personal safety. These are all merely suggestions to Alice. She is a long legged missile powered entirely by vibes.
Because of her size, strength, and enthusiasm, Alice is looking for a home with a backyard and people who can confidently handle a large, exuberant dog. Apartment living is not her style. She could potentially live as the only dog or with a medium to large dog who can match her energy and tolerate her occasionally questionable social etiquette. Kids should be 10+ and comfortable around large excitable dogs.
At the end of the day, Alice is an absolute character. She's funny, affectionate, full of life, and guaranteed to keep her future family entertained. If you have a sense of humour, a secure backyard, and an appreciation for beautiful chaos, Alice is ready to burst dramatically into your life.
