Meet Harry, a 6 year old Shih Tzu x Poodle cross and part time professional overthinker.

Harry is a genuinely sweet little dog who loves attention, enjoys being around people, and would very much like affection at all times please and thank you. He's the kind of dog who happily trots over for pats, follows you around the house like a tiny anxious cloud, and acts as though every walk is a grand adventure personally organised just for him.

Now, Harry can be a bit of a nervous Nelly. New situations sometimes make him worry, and shelter life has been a little overwhelming for this sensitive boy. Loud noises? Suspicious. Sudden movements? Concerning. Plastic bag blowing in the wind? Clearly a supernatural event.

Despite his worries, Harry is an incredibly nice dog who really wants to connect with people. Once he feels safe, his affectionate and attention seeking side shines through beautifully. He loves getting out for strolls, sniffing absolutely everything in great detail, and then returning home to continue his important work of being adorable.

Harry is looking for a calm, patient home with secondary school aged kids or older who can understand that sometimes he just needs a little reassurance while he figures things out. He may also enjoy living with a well matched dog friend who can help show him the world is not, in fact, terrifying.

Because Harry is a sensitive soul, he'll do best with gentle, positive training and kind people who can help build his confidence without rushing him. He's not looking for perfection. Just someone willing to cheer him on while he slowly realises life is actually pretty good.
