About Princess
The amount of support this gorgeous girl has received has been truly heartwarmingš©·
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much from both myself and the team.
Now itās time to find beautiful Princess the perfect palliative care home.
As much as I absolutely adore this girl, I know Iām not her perfect person, so Iām hoping to find someone who is.
Princess is gentle, sweet, curious, food-loving, and absolutely beautiful!
She is 19 years old, blind, deaf, and requires a renal-only diet to support her kidney failure. She also receives monthly arthritis injections. Due to confusion and cognitive decline, she will need a calm, consistent home environment with a strict routine and minimal changes.
We would love to find Princess the perfect home, but caring for a senior cat in palliative care must be done thoughtfully and responsibly.
Itās not just about loving them until they pass, itās about ensuring comfort, dignity, peace, and knowing when itās time to let them go with kindness.
We are looking for someone who:
š¾ Has a small, safe indoor-only space
š¾ Has floorboards or the ability to manage occasional incontinence or litter confusion
š¾ Is home most of the day or more so than not
š¾ Has highly cat-social cats who could welcome and support Princess (although this isnāt essential if someone is home often)
š¾ Is financially stable and able to provide ongoing veterinary care if needed
š¾ Understands quality of life and is able to make compassionate decisions when the time is right
š¾ Has experience with senior cats and a trusted veterinarian
