Tucker isn’t the dog who will run up to you or demand attention.
He is quiet. He watches. He feels deeply.
Tucker is a very shy boy who has struggled to trust both humans and other dogs, likely shaped by experiences from a previous pound we may never fully know. What we do know is that kennel life is incredibly hard for him — he lives much of his life feeling unsafe, unsure, and guarded.
But beneath that fear is a dog with so much to give.
Tucker is looking for a calm, one dog home, ideally with an older adopter, a single person, or someone who understands trauma — someone who values quiet companionship over constant activity. He doesn’t need entertaining; he needs reassurance. He needs someone who understands that love doesn’t have to be loud to be real.
For the right person, Tucker will be deeply loyal. He will notice you. He will remember your kindness. And one day, very quietly, he will trust you.
If you have patience, a gentle heart, and the ability to move at Tucker’s pace — fostering or foster to adopt could change his entire world.
