Sookie is an adorable little girl. Sookie and her brother Rebel are two very bonded little dogs who must be adopted together. They spend all their time together and they enjoy sleeping together with their humans. Both dogs are toilet trained. This lovely duo are fit and healthy and have been enjoying two walks a day for a long time, so would love to continue this in their new home. Both dogs walk well on lead. The dogs' recall is mostly good although when off lead they will approach other dogs if they see them. Sookie and Rebel are both dog friendly.

The dogs are friendly with children. Sookie and Rebel have lived with cats for a long time. They are generally very happy to live together and only on the very odd occasion they will get a bit cheeky and see if the cats will run if they chase.

Sookie is the main protector of the home: she will bark at visitors and unknown dogs but otherwise isn't a noisy pooch.

Sookie and Rebel love going out in the car and love their walks at the beach, park or estuary. They are good eaters. Like many dogs, they’re scared of thunderstorms, so a calm, reassuring approach helps on stormy nights.

Sookie and Rebel would thrive with active retirees or anyone home often who wants two loyal companions to spoil. They need a secure yard and a family comfortable giving them daily exercise and attention.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
