About Lightning
Meet Lightning! A friendly and affectionate boy with a soft, fluffy coat and an adorable little meow to match. Lightning was bottle raised from a very young age, which has made him incredibly people-focused and loving. He’s a cuddly, purry boy who thrives on attention and enjoys being close to his humans. One of his cutest quirks is that he sometimes suckles on his back toes when he’s feeling sleepy and content — it’s as adorable as it sounds!
Lightning loves to play with his toys and his foster siblings, and he gets along beautifully with the other cats and the friendly dog in his foster home. When he’s not busy playing, you’ll find him curled up nearby, ready for pats and snuggles. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate kitten with a gentle nature. Lightning will need to remain indoors to keep him safe from outdoor dangers! If you would like to meet him, he will be at our Adoption Weekend May 23rd and 24th at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
