About Esme
Meet Esme, an endearing and sophisticated feline with a personality as lovely as her name. Although a touch independent at heart, this affectionate girl has a charming tendency to become a bit clingy when she's hungry or in need of a little extra love. Her chirpy nature and gentle calls are a delightful part of her character, making every interaction with her feel special.
Esme has shown resilience since arriving into care, having cared for four kittens who have all moved on to loving homes. Now, it's Esme's turn to find a family that can enjoy her wonderful personality. Playful yet poised, she loves engaging with toys, whether it's a dangling feather or a simple piece of string.
While she may initially be cautious around other cats, with patience and a slow introduction, she can coexist quite amiably with feline companions. Given her affectionate nature, she will also do well in a single cat household :)
She would thrive in a household where she can indulge in her need for affection and play. Esme is looking for a family that appreciates her unique charm and is ready to offer her a loving place where she can continue to blossom.
Medical notes
Symblepharon in her left eye (adhered conjunctival tissue as a result of scarring) that occurs commonly in rescue cats due to previous feline herpes viral infection (cat flu). Assessed and diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist - not painful, still able to see light and shadows via left eye, no further action required at this stage. Able to provide notes from ophthalmology visit upon adoption.

If you’re interested in giving a loving home to one of our rescue animals, please follow these steps:
Submit an Adoption Application: Once you’ve found a pet you’d like to adopt, send us an enquiry or fill out our online adoption application. This helps us understand your lifestyle and ensures a good match for both you and the animal. https://forms.gle/BBVcWuujX2eMuway8
Meet and Greet: After your application is reviewed, we’ll schedule a meet and greet to see how you and your potential pet get along. This is a crucial step in ensuring a successful adoption.
Welcome Home: Once approved, you can bring your new furry friend home! We’ll provide you with resources and support to help you and your pet adjust to this exciting new chapter.
Adoption Fee: An adoption fee will also be required to help cover our rescue efforts. The amount will be detailed on the animals' individual profiles.
There will be a trial period of 2 weeks, within which if the animal is not deemed as a good fit for your home, we do allow returns with a partial refund. After the 2 week trial, we are still happy to take the animal(s) back, but there will be no refund of the adoption fee.
If the animal has completed the trial and you are happy with the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing will be provided.
