About Wally
🐾 Meet Wally
Beagle Cross
Wally is a classic beagle through and through-curious, friendly, and forever following his nose! To Wally, there's nothing better than a good scent, and he'll happily spend his time exploring the world one sniff at a time.
💛 Personality
Wally is a sweet, easygoing boy who enjoys the company of people (especially when they lead him to new smells to investigate!). He loves being included in daily life and will happily tag along for walks, adventures, or relaxing at home after a busy sniff session.
👃 Scent Lover
True to his breed, Wally is all about the nose. He'll thrive in a home where he can safely explore, enjoy regular walks, and engage in enrichment activities that let him use his natural instincts.
🐕 Social Style
Wally likes other dogs and enjoys a playful interaction, as long as they are friendly, respectful, and can recognise when playtime is over. He'd do well with a laid-back canine companion or equally as your main mate.
🌟 Ideal Home
Wally would love a home where:
He can safely explore and follow his nose
He gets regular walks and enrichment
He's part of the family
He may have a calm, respectful dog friend (optional)
🐾 In a Nutshell
Wally is a lovable, nose-driven adventurer who will bring plenty of charm and curiosity into your life. If you're looking for a relaxed, friendly companion to explore the world with, Wally is your guy. 🐶💛

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
