About Bluey
Bluey is the kind of kitten who reminds you that the very best things in life are worth waiting for.
This beautiful long-haired grey and white boy has the softest soul hiding beneath all that fluff. He loves curling up in snug little sleeping spots, especially anywhere the sunshine hits just right, and you’ll often find him perched proudly at the very top of his cat tree, quietly watching the world go by from his favourite lookout point.
While Bluey can be a little shy at first, there’s a playful kitten underneath just waiting to emerge. Wave a wand toy in front of him and he becomes completely mesmerised, happily chasing it around before darting after jingly balls throughout the house. Every day he grows a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more trusting.
And when Bluey decides you’re safe? That’s where the magic happens.
He’ll wander over for gentle morning snuggles, and once he’s in your arms he melts completely into a smoochy little sook who adores belly rubs. The first time he curls up beside you on the couch. The first time he snuggles in at bedtime. The first tiny purr. The first playful zoomie when he feels safe. The moment he looks at you and you realise he has chosen you as his person; those moments mean everything with a kitten like Bluey.
These milestones are already happening in foster care, and they are incredibly special because they’ve been earned through patience, kindness, and understanding. Bluey won’t be the kitten who arrives in his new home demanding attention on day one, but for the right person, the reward of watching him blossom will be absolutely priceless.
Bluey is looking for a calm, quieter home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace. He would do best in a home without young children and without dogs, as they can be a bit overwhelming for this sensitive little guy.
For someone willing to give him time, love, and patience, Bluey will become the most loyal, affectionate companion; and there’s truly nothing more rewarding than being chosen by a kitten who has learned to trust you completely.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped, and will have received their first vaccination.
