If you have ever wondered why ginger cats are so adored, then it is time to meet Jones – a darling little boy who perfectly embodies everything people love about ginger ninjas.
With his sleek short ginger coat, adorable little white socks and oversized ears (perfect for hearing the sound of a treat packet opening), Jones is as handsome as he is lovable.
His short fur means he is low shedding, making him an especially easy companion to have around the home.
Jones has a gentle, sweet nature and absolutely adores people. He is the kind of kitten who wants to be wherever you are – preferably curled up on your lap, stretched across your chest or perched on your shoulders supervising your day.
Personal space? Jones believes that is entirely overrated. If you are not keen on having your face thoroughly inspected or showered with affection, you may need to look elsewhere, because this boy is a champion smoocher.
Full of kitten energy, Jones is incredibly playful and wonderfully acrobatic. He loves to zoom, leap and entertain himself (and you), and his huge personality means there is never a dull moment when he is around.
Jones would suit a home with kind, well-behaved children who will enjoy his affectionate and playful nature.
Having grown up in a busy foster family alongside his brother Collins (who is also on Pet Rescue: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1192356) and several adult cats, Jones is very social and thrives on companionship.
He can be a little needy and loves attention, so he will need a feline friend in his forever home. He is not suited to life as an only cat – this boy is happiest with a kitty companion to snuggle and play with.
When it comes to mealtimes, Jones approaches food with great enthusiasm and never misses a chance for dinner. Despite his excitement, he is also a very neat and tidy little gentleman.
If you are looking for an affectionate, entertaining and people-loving companion who will fill your home with laughter, cuddles and ginger charm, Jones may just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
