Tacky is proof that patience pays off.

When he first arrived in foster care, he was a frightened little wild kitten who wasn’t quite sure about people. Today, he’s blossomed into a chatty, affectionate young cat with a personality that’s impossible not to love. His favourite place in the entire world is the bed.

If you’re looking for him, chances are you’ll find him curled up on the pillows waiting for you. He sleeps beside his foster carer every night and has even developed a routine of meowing to let you know it’s bedtime and he’s ready for you to come and join him.

Tacky has plenty to say and isn’t shy about telling you when he’s hungry, wants attention, or simply feels like having a conversation. He’s playful too, happily chasing toys around the house before returning to his favourite cosy spot.

While he’s still a little cautious around unfamiliar people, he settles beautifully once he realises he’s safe. His confidence has grown enormously, and it’s been a joy watching him discover just how wonderful life indoors can be. Tacky also loves the company of other cats. He settles in well, enjoys having a feline friend to play with, and would thrive in a home where he has another confident cat to keep him company.

Although it’s not essential, Tacky would love to be adopted with Polly, as the two have become best friends in care. They spend their days playing, grooming each other, and snoozing together. They would make a wonderful ready-made pair, but Tacky would also be very happy in a home with another friendly cat, or as a single cat with an owner who can give him plenty of love and attention.
