Meet Alan a cat who absolutely gives off the vibe that he's not interested in people ... until you realise he's actually one of the sweetest boys ever.

Alan isn't the kind of cat who's going to throw himself into your arms on day one. In fact, he can seem pretty unimpressed with humans at first glance. But for the cat-savvy people willing to slow down, respect his space, and not give up too quickly, Alan slowly reveals his true personality, and it's a lovely one.

Once he feels comfortable, he genuinely enjoys people and affection, especially when interactions happen on his terms to begin with. Earn his trust and you'll discover a sweet, affectionate boy who loves treats, enjoys company, and quietly forms really rewarding bonds with his humans.

Alan is also extremely enthusiastic about food (sometimes a little too enthusiastic) and would likely benefit from puzzle feeders or enrichment activities to help slow him down at mealtimes and keep his clever brain busy.

This nice boy is looking for a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace and truly reach his full potential. Beneath the "grumpy independent cat" act is a genuinely lovely companion just waiting for the right person to understand him.
