Garland

A sweet and gentle young lady, gorgeous Garland has blossomed in foster care - quickly warming to the joys of domestic life (and her foster carer's lap!), with loving pats and strokes, her sparkly ball and couch cuddles being some of her favourite things :)

She's recently found her purr too, completing her transformation into a happy house cat! Friendly and curious, Garland adores the company of humans who've passed the sniff test (treats are an acceptable way to her heart as well), and likes to wait for you outside the bathroom, monitor what's going on in the kitchen and inspect laptops.

This lovely girl will continue to thrive in a patient and kind home, where she's allowed to settle in at her own pace without pressure. She'd prefer to live with adults only, or maybe a family with teenagers, with or without other pets.

Like all Maggie’s pets, Garland is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be on the quiet and calm side, and hopefully somebody will be around a fair bit so we can spend loads of time together and grow our bond. I'm pretty independent by nature, but I do like having my humans close by!

I'll expect pats on demand, lots of cuddles and delicious treats too, please. I'm not a big fan of sudden movements, or getting picked up, but feeling comfortable and secure in my environment goes a long way to helping me chill out.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a typical teen, really! I enjoy playing in the mornings and evenings (pens I can swat around and crinkly balls I can carry in my mouth while growling like a hunter are my top picks for toys), then snoozing the rest of the day away.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I can be easily startled, I'm ideally looking for a home with adults only. A family with kids aged 13+ might also work.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I lived with other cats in my early life, so there's every chance I'd do well in a multi-cat home :)

Less sure about dogs, but maybe a low-key one could be a nice companion?
