About Pignelope
Meet the adorable Pignelope. This sweet little piggy can be quite shy at first but once she gets settled in her new home, she will be a welcome addition to your family. Pignelope loves her leafy greens. She thrives on lots of enrichment like tunnels, chew toys and places to hide. As she is a little bit shy with handling, Pignelope is best suited to a family with teenagers and adults who will be able to handle her respectfully. She is best suited to a large indoor enclosure away from other animals. She may enjoy going home with a friendly, desexed guinea pig, pending a meet and greet on site
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
