About Leroy Jenkins
Meet Leroy, a big-hearted boy with an even bigger personality! Once he feels comfortable, Leroy loves nothing more than a good cuddle and will happily soak up plenty of affection on his terms. He also has a playful side and enjoys getting stuck into his favourite rope toys - and he certainly isn't afraid of getting a little messy when there's fun to be had!
Leroy is a clever boy who knows some basic cues and would love a structured, teen-or-adult-only home that can comfortably manage his size and strength. Leroy would love to live with a family that understand his breed specific needs and help continue building his skills through positive reinforcement, exercise and enrichment.
Leroy would be happiest as the only dog in the home. If you're looking for an affectionate and loyal companion with plenty of personality, Leroy could be the perfect addition to your family. Leroy has some ongoing medical needs, so please give us a call to find out more.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
