About Billie
Meet Billie, a stunning 4-month-old purebred golden retriever, whose calm and sweet nature is absolutely captivating. Billie was initially on the path to becoming a therapy dog, as she excelled in all her personality tests with flying colors. However, due to her tendency to get car sick, she was unable to continue down that path. This little hiccup doesn't take away from the fact that Billie is the perfect companion for any loving family. She's ready to share her affectionate and gentle spirit with a family who can shower her with as much love as she gives in return.
Golden retrievers, like Billie, are renowned for their gentle disposition and friendly demeanor, making them one of the most popular family dogs worldwide. They are intelligent, highly trainable, and eager to please, making them a delight to have in any home. Billie has already received her first and second vaccinations and is microchipped and regularly wormed, ensuring she's off to a healthy start. Under the direction of our vet Billie will be desexed at 6 months of age. Billie must return to our vet in Rosewood for this procedure and this is a non negotiable condition of adoption.

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
