🤍 Why am I still waiting?
Every day, people scroll past my photo.
Some see a shy little white cat hiding away and keep looking.
What they don't see is the girl I'm trying so hard to become.
By day, I like to stay where I feel safe. New things can be scary, and I need a little time to believe I'm okay.
But when night falls, I come alive. I race through the house with joyful zoomies, chase imaginary friends, and let my playful spirit shine. And if you listen closely, you'll hear my loud, rumbling purr—my way of saying, "I'm starting to trust you."
I'm not the cat who will climb straight into your lap on day one.
I'm the cat whose love is earned.
The one who slowly learns your voice, your kindness, and your gentle touch. The one who will one day choose to curl up beside you because you've shown me that I'm finally safe.
That kind of love is worth waiting for.
I'd love a home without female cats, but I could happily share my life with a friendly male cat or a cat-friendly dog.
I know I'm not the easiest cat to adopt.
But I promise I'll be one of the most rewarding.
All I'm asking for is someone who won't give up on me before we've even had the chance to meet.
I've spent far too long waiting for a family to see beyond my shyness.
