I’m 8.5 years old.
And sometimes I wonder if that number is the reason people keep looking past me. 💔
I’m not a kitten anymore.
I don’t need to climb the walls or keep you awake all night.
I’m simply a gentle, beautiful girl who wants to spend her days feeling safe, loved and wanted.
I still have so much love left to give.
So many sunny mornings to enjoy.
So many quiet afternoons curled up beside someone.
So many little moments of happiness still waiting for me. ☀️🤎
I love lying on my cat tower, watching the sunshine through the window and relaxing in the catio while I watch the world go by.
And don't think I've forgotten how to have fun! 😹
Bring out a laser light or cat teaser and you'll see my playful side come alive.
I’m also happy around other cats and I’m not bothered by dogs. I just need slow introductions and a little time to settle in.
But what I really want isn't complicated.
I want someone to choose me.
Someone who looks into my eyes and doesn't see an 8.5-year-old cat.
Someone who sees a beautiful girl with so much life still ahead of her.
Someone who understands that older cats have something incredibly precious to offer — a gentle soul, a steady heart, and a lifetime of love waiting to be shared. 🥹🤎
Please don't let me spend my golden years waiting for someone to notice me.
I deserve a warm bed.
A sunny window.
A loving lap.
A family who says, “You're home now, Krissy-Lola.”
My age isn't the end of my story.
