About Peta
Hello,
My name is Peta and I have been living the kennel life for a while now—think of it as my extended spa retreat, minus the massages but with plenty of belly rubs. Thanks to the kind humans who sorted out my health hiccups, I now have a clean bill of health and am ready for my forever home!
Now, I may be considered a ‘senior’ at almost 11 years old, but don’t let the number fool you—I’ve still got enough love to fill a tennis ball bucket! I’m basically Peter Pan’s shadow’s long-lost cousin and will stick to you like dog hair on black pants. I get along with dogs of all sizes, though I do have a soft spot for medium to large companions. As for cats, I haven’t had the pleasure, so that’s still a mystery… cue dramatic music!
I am partial to older people, have a laid-back demeanour, and am excellent on a leash.
I’m not picky—I’ll eat anything that fits in a bowl (or, let’s be honest, anything that hits the floor). But I do appreciate a dash of coconut oil on my dinner and a fresh egg every other day—think of it as my beauty routine. My coat was a bit lacklustre after my operation, but with these gourmet touches, it’s starting to shine again!
A full medical run-down (after landing on all 4-paws at my luxury kennels) can be requested.
Medical notes
Peta has had a very extensive vet work and has received a clean bill of health.

This trial period is to ensure your new family member has enough time to settle into their new environment, and you can both be sure it's the right fit. During this time, do not hesitate to get in contact with us if there are any issues, concerns or questions. If for whatever reason, you decide during the trial period that it's not the right fit, get in contact with us and we will take the animal back into our care, and your adoption fee will be refunded to you. Also, if at anytime during the course of your pets life, you are unable to care for them anymore, we will happily welcome them back.
