About Cooper
Cooper is a gentle little dog who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and enjoyable place. While he can be shy at first, particularly around men or unfamiliar visitors, he warms up with patience and a calm approach and soon shows his affectionate side with soft kisses and a love for being close to his people. He enjoys relaxing in the sunshine, spending time with his humans, and happily coexisting with other dogs after thoughtful introductions. Cooper would thrive in a quiet, understanding home that can continue building his confidence at his own pace.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
