Meet Shortbread! She is a sweet girl looking for a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace. While shy at first, she enjoys soft cheek pats and quiet companionship once she feels safe. Shortbread may enjoy having a feline friend, pending a slow and careful introduction. She will thrive with a predictable routine, cosy hiding spots, and patient adopters who let her build confidence gradually. She could go to a home with gentle older children, teenagers or adults. With time, kindness, and understanding, Shortbread is sure to become a rewarding companion for the right family. Come and meet Shortbread!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
