Gemma is a beautiful female Greyhound who is ready to leave her racing life behind and begin her next chapter — but first, she needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can safely transition into pet life.

While Gemma has not yet entered foster care, we do know that she enjoys playing and has a fun-loving side that is just waiting to shine in the right home. Like many newly retired Greyhounds, she will still be learning about everyday life outside of racing, and she’ll need a patient and supportive environment to help guide her through those first experiences.

From discovering toys and comfy beds to learning household routines and enjoying leisurely walks, Gemma is ready to begin figuring out what life as a loved companion is all about. Her playful nature is sure to bring plenty of smiles as she settles in and gains confidence.

Right now, all Gemma needs is someone willing to give her that first opportunity. A caring foster home will give her the safety, comfort, and reassurance she needs to truly flourish.
