This handsome one-year-old Terrier x (Jack Russell x Dachshund) is a tan and white bundle of charm who loves life and makes friends wherever he goes.
Pepper is the kind of dog who lights up when he meets new people and brings a smile to everyone around him. He warms up beautifully to other dogs and is particularly great with smaller breeds — he even came into care with his little mate Minty!
He's loves getting out to explore, though he's not afraid to slam on the brakes when something interesting catches his nose — hey, the world is full of good smells! 🐾😄
Pepper would suit a home that appreciates a social, easygoing companion with a big personality in a small package. He'd do best with a calm canine companion — ideally female or a respectful smaller dog who shares his laid-back style.
Since Pepper came to us as a stray from Mudgee Pound, we're still getting to know him — but what we do know is that he is an absolute joy to be around.

Adoption details
Our Adoption Process 🐾
We aim to make the adoption process smooth and supportive, while ensuring every pet is placed in a safe, loving home.
1. Application
• Complete our application form in full.
• Include photos of your secure fencing, yard, and where the pet will sleep.
• Applications without photos will not be considered - you may send photos via email.
2. Review
• A team member will contact you to discuss your application.
3. Agreement
• If approved, you’ll receive an adoption agreement to sign and return.
• Proof of address must be provided with your application or at the meet-and-greet.
4. Meet & Greet / Transport
• A meet-and-greet will be arranged, or transport organised to your home.
5. Trial period: 14 days
6. Adoption Finalisation
• Once successful, adoption is completed and your new family member officially becomes yours.

• Secure fencing is essential.
• Adoption is a lifelong commitment, so please apply only when all decision-makers in your home are on board.
• Our priority is the best match for each pet, not first-come-first-served.
