About Cooper - 11 Year Old Jack Russell Terrier
Meet Cooper, your Loyal Little Companion!
Cooper is an 11-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier with a friendly personality. Friendly from the moment he meets you, Cooper will happily greet you with a wagging tail from the moment he meets you. Don’t let his age fool you, this little guy still has a lot of life!
Cooper has formed a strong bond with the adult male in his foster home and would thrive with someone looking for a devoted companion. While his foster carer doesn’t have children, Cooper has been very friendly with the neighbour’s kids and enjoys attention from people around him.
This clever little guy loves treats and knows basic commands including “sit,” “stay,” and “no.” He is still working on his overnight toileting, so he will benefit from ongoing patience and routine training in his new home.
Cooper is comfortable being left alone for short periods, but he much prefers having company, so someone who is home more often will benefit him. He enjoys short, regular walks and is great around other dogs while out and about. Like many loyal little watchdogs, he can become does bark if people walk past while he’s put playing in the front yard.
Cooper loves chasing a ball, playing tug-o-war, and then winding down in the evening watching TV, especially the footy. He’s still an active and lively dog who enjoys engagement, companionship, and being part of daily life.
Cooper takes a daily chewable tablet for arthritis, which is easily purchased over the counter, and it helps keep him comfortable and enjoying life. He has also just had a dental clean!
Cooper is enjoys spending time outside laying in the sun of a day, but needs to be allowed inside, when people are around and at night.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, entertaining companion with plenty of affection to give, Cooper could be the perfect addition to your home.
Cooper is in foster care in Caves Beach, NSW. He is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
