About Wattle
Meet Miss Wattle
DOB: 3 March 2026
Breed: Maremma Sheepdog x Cattle Dog
Colour: Black & White with a double mask
Expected size: Medium
Desexing: Deferred desexing program applies
Wattle is one of seven beautiful puppies from ARK’s Country Litter, born on 3 March 2026. She weighed 6.1 kgs on 28 April 2026.
Her dad is a gorgeous purebred Maremma and her mum is a Cattle Dog with a rich brown coat. Wattle is growing into a very pretty little girl, with a lovely black and white coat.
Wattle’s foster mum describes her as a little bit cheeky, a little bit sassy, energetic and playful. She is a bright, lively pup with plenty of personality and a happy little spark about her.
Like all puppies, Wattle is curious, active and still learning about the world. She enjoys playtime, exploring, interacting with her littermates and being part of whatever is happening around her. She will need a home that understands she is still very young and will require patience, training, socialisation and gentle guidance as she grows.
Given her Maremma and Cattle Dog heritage, Wattle is likely to mature into an intelligent, loyal and active dog. She will be best suited to a home that can offer her space, companionship, structure and plenty of positive engagement. She is not a puppy to be left to raise herself in the backyard. She needs to be included as part of the family and given the chance to grow into the wonderful dog she is already showing herself to be.
Wattle will be adopted under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program, which includes desexing when age appropriate, subject to the terms and conditions of the adoption contract.
APPLICATIONS ARE ONLINE ONLY. If you are interested in offering Wattle a home, please complete ARK’s adoption application here:
