Silvermist is a 4-month-old grey tabby female kitten currently waiting for her forever home at Wat Djerring Animal Facility. 💕🐱

This delicate little girl is looking for experienced, cat-savvy humans who understand shy feline body language and are willing to move at her pace. Silvermist is very scared at this stage and will need a calm, quiet home with patient people who respect her boundaries. 🏡💙

She is strictly not suited to a home with children, as she requires a peaceful environment where she can feel safe and unpressured.
Silvermist is also looking to be the only pet in the house so no furry siblings.

When first meeting new people, Silvermist may greet you with hisses 😿-not out of aggression, but fear. With time, patience, and a gentle routine of sitting quietly nearby, offering treats 🍗, and allowing her to approach in her own time, she will slowly begin to realise she is safe. And once that trust is earned, she has the potential to grow into a loving and affectionate companion. 🌱💖

Silvermist just needs someone who understands that confidence cannot be rushed-but can absolutely be built.

Like all young kittens, she will thrive best in a calm and stable home where she can take things at her own pace. A safe room during her early days will help her adjust to new sights, sounds, and smells without feeling overwhelmed. 🛏️✨

A cosy bed 🛌, scratching post 🐾, and enrichment toys 🧸 will help her feel more secure as she learns to trust her environment.

At just 4 months old, this is the perfect age to begin gentle learning. 🎓 With patience, Silvermist can slowly be introduced to grooming, handling, and positive experiences that help build confidence over time.

🏡 Silvermist must be strictly indoors for her safety.

💉 She comes with her first vaccination provided by the facility and will require two additional vaccinations through your private veterinarian.
