At first, Maisie can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring a new environment. She likes to take her time, quietly observing the world and deciding when she's ready to join in. But for those willing to be patient, the reward is something truly special.

Once Maisie trusts you, she gives you her whole heart.

She is the kind of kitten who sleeps tucked beside you in bed, purring herself to sleep and waiting patiently at your feet for you to wake up each morning. Her sweet little chirps will become part of your daily soundtrack, and her motorboat purr seems to switch on for just about everything. Pats? Purrs. Dinner time? Purrs. Seeing her favourite human or feline friend? Even more purrs.

Maisie loves company and enjoys being close to both people and other cats. She is equally happy playing with her humans, chasing toys with her feline friends, or entertaining herself before returning for cuddles. One of her cutest habits is proudly carrying her toys around in her mouth as she goes about her important kitten business.

Beneath her gentle and slightly reserved nature is an incredibly affectionate, loyal companion who simply wants to love and be loved. She would thrive in a home that understands she may need a little time to settle in, but once she does, you'll discover a sweet soul who will fill your days with chirps, purrs, companionship, and unconditional love.

This pet is currently onsite at our Craigieburn shelter (23 Grasslands Avenue, Craigieburn) and ready to find their forever home! Our adoption hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 3.30pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm, excluding Public Holidays.
