Lady

Beautiful lady has only ended up in our foster care program due to the death of her elderly owner. No one in the family was able to keep her so they contacted us for help. Lady was petrified, she had lost her beloved human and her whole world all at once so a member of brv went and sat with her in her yard until she could be coaxed over and into the safety of foster care. Lady was taken straight to our vet where she had to have several teeth removed along with a lump on her ear and spent several weeks resting and healing. When lady first came in to care she was morbidly obese (lady is only 14 inches tall) so we have spent approx 2 months helping lady loose a large amount of weight and low and behold watching her move now makes us all grin! she can even keep up with the younger beagles! she has learnt to conquer the stairs without having to stop half way and catch her breath and can be seen sniffing and running around the yard with her playmate ollie!

lady is just amazing, she is one of the easiest dogs that we have ever had come into care. We are looking for a home though that is catered to her needs!

lady would love to live with a family who have another beagle, she has been an only dog all her life but watching her interact with other dogs is just amazing, watching her trust and learn about new environments and people is beautiful so we would like to see her maintain her new life. Being an indoor dog is a must, please remember lady lived with a gentleman in his 90's and her life existed sleeping beside him and being inside all the time so she won’t cope with becoming a outdoor only dog. She needs a family who will give her time to settle and let her have as much couch and family time as possible!
