🐾 Meet Dahlia – The Sweet Little Learner 💛🐾

Dahlia is a beautiful little dog with a lovely, gentle temperament and a heart full of potential. She’s settling into foster care nicely and showing just how sweet and affectionate she can be.

She gets along well with the other foster dog in the home, though she’s confident enough to let him know when she’s had enough — offering a little growl to set her boundaries. Dahlia is also great with the resident cat, choosing to leave it alone, and she’s been wonderful with kids, happily bonding with her foster carer’s children and even sleeping on the 14-year-old’s bed at night.

Affectionately nicknamed “Dee Dee,” she’s slowly learning her name and starting to understand her new world. She’s also making progress with lead training and is doing quite well so far.

Like many young dogs, Dahlia is still learning the basics. She’s not yet toilet trained and will need a patient home committed to helping her build this routine. She’s also in a chewy stage, but with access to the right toys, she happily redirects her energy.

Dahlia would thrive in a home where she can receive consistent guidance, time, and training. With the right support, she’s sure to grow into a well-mannered and devoted companion.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
