Hi, I’m Millie, a friendly little girl who absolutely loves being around people.

My favourite things in life are cuddles, pats and spending time with my humans. I also love to play, especially with a ball, and I’m quite proud of my catching skills. If you throw it, I’ll be right there to chase it down and bring it back.

I’ve got some lovely manners too. I walk well on the lead, I travel nicely in the car, and I’m fully house trained. I’ll sit politely for my food and I’m very gentle when taking treats, which I absolutely love. I get along well with other dogs, cats and children of all ages, so I fit in easily with most families.

I do like having company and can feel a little anxious when left alone for too long. I’d really love a home where I’m not on my own all the time and where someone can help me feel safe and settled. Maybe an older person/s with some fun grandkids who will visit and play with me?

As a Maltese Shih Tzu, I’m bred to be a loving companion. Dogs like me are known for being affectionate, gentle and happiest when we’re close to our people. I don’t need a huge amount of exercise, just some daily walks and playtime, but I do need lots of love and attention. I am also used to being regularly groomed and would love to keep this up so I'm looking my best.

I am currently in GPAWS Assisted Rehoming program, living with my owner until I can find a perfect forever home. They love me deeply and have spoilt me for years but unfortunately due to big change in personal circumstances she is no longer able to provide me the quality of life that she says I deserve.

I’m looking for a home where I can be part of the family, share lots of cuddles, and be included in everyday life. In return, I promise to be a loyal, loving and very happy little companion.-
