About Sweet Pea
Meet Sweet Pea, a charming British Bulldog with a heart full of love and a spirit that yearns for companionship. With her endearing personality and oodles of affection, Sweet Pea is on a journey to overcome her initial fears and embrace a world full of happiness and play. Her gentle nature is evident in her loving demeanor, and there's not a mean bone in her body. As a toilet-trained, loving companion, Sweet Pea is always eager to be by your side and share her warmth and cheer.
Sweet Pea is an excellent companion for families, as she adores kids, dogs, people, and even cats. While she's still a little apprehensive in new places, her desire to experience everything life has to offer is growing, and she just needs a touch of patience and encouragement to blossom into the playful, loyal friend you've been searching for. Despite her velcro-like attachment, Sweet Pea is comfortable with some independence, making her happy to relax while you go out. Her greatest wish is to be part of a loving family, where she can continue her journey, share cuddles, and experience the joy of inclusion in everyday adventures.
Medical notes
Sweet pea has had 5/5 airway surgery completed. She has been desexed and her eye is being treated.
She has mild allergies which flare up as a demerits around her eye.
We are trialling dietary modification, topical cream and medication to see what helps her the most.
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also a excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
