About Morty
š¾ Meet Morty ā Gorgeous Boy with the Biggest Heart!
Microchip Number: 953010008125905
Date of Birth: Approx November 2025
Gender: Male
Colour: Grey/Tan
Breed: DSH Tabby
Foster Carer Suburb: Dapto, NSW
š Personality & Backstory
Morty is a gorgeous grey and tan tabby boy with the biggest heart and an even bigger need for love. This sweet little man came all the way from Queensland after being at risk of euthanasia, and from the moment he was saved, he made it very clear that all he wants is to be close to his people.
Morty will make a noise the second he sees you and come running over for cuddles. Pick him up and he instantly turns into a little purr machine, happily head butting your face and melting into your arms. He absolutely adores affection and will roll around on your lap for tummy scratches like heās known you forever.
Heās the definition of a velcro cat ā following you everywhere, weaving around your feet, and even standing up like a little meerkat when he wants to be picked up. Morty is incredibly affectionate, needy in the sweetest way possible, and thrives on companionship.
Because of this, Morty would do best in a home with another friendly cat or with someone who is home often and wanting a constant little shadow by their side. If youāre looking for a kitten who will love you with his whole heart, Morty is your boy.

Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitmentāboth emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. Weāll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, weād love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, weāll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isnāt the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
