Salem

Salem is a gorgeous young black cat with a sweet and affectionate nature. He enjoys spending time with his people and happily seeks out attention and interaction, though he prefers affection on his own terms. Salem can be a little sensitive to loud noises and doesn’t currently enjoy being picked up or overhandled, but he recovers quickly and continues to build confidence in new environments. With patience and understanding, he settles in well and forms lovely bonds with those around him.

Salem would likely suit a wide variety of homes and age groups. He could live with children, including younger kids, provided parents are able to supervise interactions and teach respectful handling. Having a quiet retreat space where he can relax when he needs a break will help him feel secure and comfortable.
