The moment she was found, she ran straight over, climbed into waiting arms, curled up and fell asleep - as if she already knew what love, warmth and safety was supposed to feel like.

She truly lives up to her name. Summer is sunshine in kitten form: warm, bright, joyful and impossible not to love. While you might expect a stray kitten to be shy or cautious, Summer is the exact opposite. She is confident, playful, affectionate and endlessly curious about the world around her. She wants to be involved in everything and and around everyone. Couch cuddles? Absolutely. Playtime with children? Her favourite. A companion to follow you from room to room? She's your shadow.

What’s perhaps most remarkable about Summer is how effortlessly she has embraced every change life has handed her. Despite her rough start, she moves through the world with trust, curiosity and resilience. She takes everything in her stride and makes you feel like you've known her your whole life.

She’s beautifully behaved, toilet trained, healthy and has settled into foster home life with ease. She has an incredible “press play” energy when it’s time for fun, but once she’s tired herself out, she’ll gently push her whole body into yours for cuddles and a nap. Don't you think about getting up - you are her favourite pillow!
