Meet Izzy, a beautiful 6-year-old female Tan/Black/White Tabby with striking markings and an even more striking personality.

This pretty girl is a confident, affectionate spark plug who lights up every room she enters.

Izzy has been deeply loved and is now looking for a peaceful, loving forever home where she can truly thrive.

She’s done her best in a busy multi-cat household, but she’s shown time and time again that she shines brightest in a calmer environment. Sadly, she recently lost her brother, with whom she shared a close bond. Now this sweet girl is ready for a fresh start where she can be the center of attention.

Izzy’s Personality

Izzy is an absolute love bug and a non-stop purr machine. The moment you sit down, she’ll happily climb into your lap or onto your chest for cuddles. She adores attention and will “chat” with you in her sweet little voice while demanding pets. Playful, curious, and full of life, she brings warmth and joy wherever she goes.

You’ll often catch her zooming around in happy bursts, batting at toys, pouncing, and racing through the house with pure delight. Her playful energy is incredibly entertaining. One minute she’s zooming like a kitten, the next she’s curled up in a sunbeam, fast asleep. She’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly.

Ideal Home

Izzy would do best in a calm, low-stress household where she can settle in and feel completely safe and relaxed. She is best suited as an only pet, no other cats or dogs, especially not dominant or highly energetic ones.

Patient, caring owner(s) who understand she may need a little time to fully warm up
Older children only (teenagers and up) as she is not suited to homes with very young or loud children
Plenty of vertical space, scratching posts, toys, and cozy beds for playing, perching, and napping

Izzy is 6 years old, has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is currently living with her family in Mentone.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
