Hello darling, I’m Flame. Yes, that Flame — the long-haired beauty with dramatic eyeliner so perfect people think I wake up ready for a red carpet photoshoot. I have that mysterious celebrity energy: elegant, independent, and unforgettable once you meet me. I’ve learnt that beauty like mine sometimes gets you into trouble.

I spent much of my life outdoors, where kind people in the neighbourhood looked after me while I raised multiple litters of kittens. I was a proud and loving mother, and every one of my babies was raised strong and safe. But now? It’s finally my turn to take the spotlight.

Even though I’m not a kitten anymore, I still love scratching posts, little games, and showing off my glamorous fluffy tail as I strut through the house. I’m generally a confident girl who takes life in her stride.

Every celebrity has some purr-fectly acceptable guilty pleasures… mine are lactose-free cat milk and water. Flowing taps and water fountains are one of my greatest fascinations, and having a fountain of my own would make me overjoyed!

One of my sweetest little habits is using my paw to say thank you after meals. And when I want attention, I make the cutest chirping sound like a tiny bird. My foster carer even calls me “Birdie.”

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I enjoy the company of both humans and fellow pets. I’m affectionate and happy to be picked up for cuddles, though I’ll politely let you know when I’ve had enough, I am a refined lady, after all.

I currently live with two cats and a dog, and I always show good manners to animal friends who are calm, respectful, and don’t rush me. While I can live alongside other pets, my foster carer feels I would be happiest in a quieter home without multiple cats, especially not dominant or overly confident male cats. If there are already pets in the home, introductions will need to happen extremely slowly so I can feel safe and comfortable settling in at my own pace.

I’d also be perfectly happy as the shining star of the household, especially if someone spoils me with a cat fountain!

I would prefer not to live with very young children who may want to follow me everywhere and pester me. I know I attract attention easily, but a girl still needs her personal space.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving home where I can finally relax after raising kittens of my own, with a family who appreciates a cat with beauty, personality, and a little celebrity attitude. I would love a secure backyard, cat run, or enclosed outdoor area where I can safely enjoy sunshine and fresh air and don’t forget the water fountain.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
