About Rexy
Rexy is an incredibly very happy, people-oriented little Jack Russell fella who thrives on being close to his human family members, particularly during times of relaxation. He currently resides with teenagers and relishes the company of everyone he encounters. His cheerful disposition and lively spirit make him a delightful presence, bringing joy to those around him.
Rexy interacts positively with other dogs and has been tested with a larger retriever, enjoying playful chases around the yard. He would likely thrive with another calm yet playful canine companion. Currently, he is the only dog in the household. During walks, Rexy may show interest in meeting other dogs for a hi how are you.
He has a tendency to try and slip out the front door, so a barrier is used to prevent any unexpected escapes. He can be home alone with no issues
He is fully toilet trained, although like many new dogs, he may initially mark his territory.

Rexy enjoys resting and sleeping in close proximity to his human family. Having a soft toy nearby provides him with comfort and helps him settle down for a peaceful sleep.
Rexy is a good traveler and handles car rides well when secured with a harness, making trips enjoyable and stress-free for both him and his family.
As a typical Jacky , Rexy thrives on daily walks and playtime. Regular exercise and mental engagement are crucial for his overall well-being, ensuring he remains happy and healthy.
ADOPTION CRITEREA
Rexy would flourish in a home that offers structure, consistency, and regular exercise. He requires clear boundaries and ongoing guidance as he continues to settle in.
A family environment with teenagers who can be mindful around doorways would be ideal for Rexy.
A home with a backyard where he can explore and sniff around would be perfect, as apartment living is not suitable for his needs.
Rexy would be fine with children who respect dogs boundaries preferably over 5
Rexy would be fine as an only dog or live with a dog of similar size and energy
He has not been tested with cats
