About Mika
Hello, I’m Mika, a beautiful senior girl who is looking for a calm and loving home to spend my golden years in. These days, I much prefer quiet afternoons, cosy blankets, sunny windowsills, and peaceful company over the hustle and bustle of a busy household. I’m an independent lady at heart and enjoy affection on my own terms, but once I feel comfortable, I absolutely love being near my people and sharing gentle companionship.
I’m not a fan of other cats and would be happiest as the only feline in the home, where I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. While I may not be as energetic as a kitten, I still have plenty of love to give and a sweet personality that shines through every day. I’m the kind of companion who will happily keep you company while you relax, read, watch TV, or simply enjoy a peaceful evening at home.
Because I’m an older girl, I would be best suited to a home with children over 6 years old who can understand when I’d like a little quiet time and can be gentle and respectful with me. In return, I’ll reward you with soft purrs, sweet companionship, and all the charm that only a senior cat can bring.
One thing you should know about me, I absolutely love my food! Mealtime is one of my favourite parts of the day, and I’ll never say no to a tasty treat or two. A few snacks and some gentle pats are a very quick way to win my heart.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adoption one of our advertised animals, please contact us on 48681520 where we can discuss suitability and arrange a time to meet in person.
Our adoption process for dogs and cats involves filling out an application which can be obtained when you visit the shelter to view the animals. At least 24 hours after the application is received, it will be reviewed by our Team Leader and staff to discuss suitability.
If your application has been successful we will give you a call and arrange a time for collection.
If you are interested in any of our pets, your best option is to call us on 4868 1520 during opening hours (10am to 4pm Mon-Fri, 10am to 12pm Sat-Sun), or leave a message with phone number so we can return your call. Appointments are required for all people looking to visit the shelter.
*Please Note* That all animals have to be collected from the shelter in Moss Vale we unfortunately do not have any transport available.
