Every cattery has that one cat who quietly runs the whole place… and here, it’s definitely Kala 🐾✨
This stunning black and white mama cat is the confident queen of the group — outgoing, vocal, social and full of personality without ever being bossy 💅 While she takes her motherhood duties VERY seriously, she somehow still manages to keep the peace between everyone around her.
Kala arrived alongside another mother cat, Tuna, plus Charlie and all the kittens 💔 And while she is protective over her babies, she is incredibly gentle and respectful with the adult cats around her. She’s the boss… but never the bully 🖤
One of Kala’s funniest little quirks? She absolutely LOVES food 😂 Bring out the dinner bowls or cream treats and she’ll happily chat away to let you know just how excited she is. She even does adorable little growls while eating — not out of aggression, but pure appreciation for her snacks 🍗🥹
Sadly, Kala may be overlooked simply because she’s “just another adult black cat” while her kittens will likely find homes quickly 💔 But anyone who meets her instantly sees how special she really is. She has such a big presence, a loving heart, and the kind of funny personality that makes a house truly feel like home.
Kala is a larger-sized female cat who deserves a life where she can finally stop raising babies and start being spoiled herself 🛋️☀️ Once her kittens are weaned, she’ll be more than ready to enjoy a home of her own filled with treats, comfy beds and humans who adore her.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
