Tuna is the kind of cat who knows she’s beautiful… and honestly, she’s absolutely right 🐾
This stunning Russian Blue mix arrived at the pound alongside adult Charlie, & her own 4 kittens, and another mother cat after being surrendered due to financial hardship 💔 While her babies still need her for now, Tuna is already searching for a forever home where she can finally relax and be adored the way she deserves.
Although she isn’t quite ready to leave just yet while she finishes raising her kittens, Tuna can be pre-adopted now so she has a loving home lined up the moment her babies are weaned 🥹🏡
Part exotic and full of quiet elegance, Tuna is one of those cats who initially sits back and watches from afar — calmly making sure everyone notices just how gorgeous she is ✨ She’s a slow burn with strangers and doesn’t immediately throw herself at new people, but once she trusts you, she becomes the most gentle, loving and loyal companion 🤍
She has been an incredible mum with such a calm, nurturing nature. While we know her kittens will likely be snapped up quickly, we really hope someone sees how special Tuna is too 🩶 Adult cats are so often overlooked, but this placid girl deserves a home where she can finally be spoiled after spending so much time caring for everyone else.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
