About Fig!
🍐 FIG 🖤
Approx. 8–10 week old Domestic Short Hair kitten
Please don’t let Fig’s scared little photos fool you… behind those worried eyes is an incredibly sweet baby who is trying so hard to learn that humans can be kind 🥺💕
Fig arrived at the pound alongside little Daisy after a lovely member of the public found the pair struggling to survive on the streets 🌧️🐾 Their history before rescue is completely unknown, and with Daisy much younger than Fig, we have no idea how long this tiny boy had been out there fending for food and safety all alone 💔
Since coming into care, Fig has slowly started to trust. Every day he gets a little braver, a little softer, and a little more curious about the world around him ✨ He is very camera shy, but in person he is an absolute softie who melts with patience and gentle affection.
Fig simply needs someone willing to open their whole heart to him 🏡🖤 With time, love and understanding, this little fruit is going to absolutely blossom 🌱
What helps Fig most is other cats — he ADORES feline company and truly thrives around confident, friendly cats who help him feel safe 🐈💕 Because of this, Fig must go to a home with an existing friendly cat, or be adopted with another kitten from the pound.
He would likely do best in:
✨ A calm, quiet indoor home
✨ Mature, patient adopters
✨ A multi-cat household
✨ A home without young children (they may overwhelm him)
We are unsure how he would feel around dogs at this stage.
This sweet little survivor deserves the chance to finally relax, feel safe, and know what it’s like to be truly loved 🛋️☀️
