About Churro
Meet Churro – A gentle boy who can be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up and shows his affectionate nature. He loves cuddles, quiet companionship and finding a cosy spot beside his people. With People - Churro thrives in a quiet and relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle of a busy household. He can find small children overwhelming and would be best suited to a calm home where he can settle in and enjoy peaceful companionship. With Other Dogs – He may enjoy the company of calm canine companions and appreciates gentle interactions and relaxed play. He may suit a home with other laid-back dogs that match his easy-going nature. Health - Churro is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222 or email communitycompliance@salisbury.sa.gov.au, and complete an adoption application.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
