About Marble
Marble is a quiet, gentle little girl who likes to sit and watch the world around her. Except at zoomies time, and then she hurtles along like a small thunderstorm until she's all worn out. She likes to get her energy out all in one go. It's pretty predictable. Every evening, at about the same time, her and her brother Mango race up and down the hallway at top speed until they've run out of energy. Then they crawl into their cat cave to sleep it off.
Marble can be shy at first but she loves to get pats and hang out with the people she trusts. She's great with other cats and loves hanging out with her brother and the other cats in her foster home. She loves her cat tree and climbing up high to check things out.
She can be startled by loud noises, so she'd be better in a household either with only adults or older or calm kids. She likes the quiet life.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
