Meet Steve
Steve is a handsome young male kitten with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure.

Steve’s story began when his brave tabby mama cat broke into a kind stranger’s backyard to give birth to her three kittens safely out of the cold. The family cared for the little trio until they were old enough to be surrendered into rescue care. It’s suspected that Steve’s father may have been a Maine Coon cat who was frequently visiting mama cat at the time — and Steve certainly inherited the confidence and playful spirit to match (and big feet).

Confident, curious, and full of playful energy, Steve loves exploring his surroundings and turning everyday moments into fun. Whether he’s scooting up cat trees, chasing balls, pouncing on feathers, or wrestling with snake toys, Steve is always ready for his next little adventure.

While he is sweet and affectionate with his hooman family, Steve’s favourite way to bond is through playtime and companionship. He is incredibly friendly and fearless — kids, cars, doorbells, vacuum cleaners… nothing seems to faze this confident little boy.

Steve is litter-trained, respectful indoors, and has excellent manners around clothes, shoes, and furniture. He happily eats both wet and dry kitten food and has settled beautifully into foster care. He is also a perfectly healthy kitten who has never experienced any health issues while in care. He is quiet, rarely meowing unless he is in a pet carrier (he prefers to to be out and about).

One of Steve’s loveliest qualities is how social he is with other cats. He quickly makes friends with resident cats and loves curling up beside them when it’s time to sleep. Because of this, he may especially enjoy a home with another friendly feline companion.
