About Roxy

Roxy is a beautiful soul with the gentlest nature and the sweetest temperament.
She’s a curious girl who loves being near her people and will happily mooch around the house following you from room to room just to keep you company. She truly just loves being part of everyday life.
She’s very much a sleepy girl and proud couch potato, happiest curled up inside with her humans nearby.
Roxy is an inside dog and spends her days snoozing on the couch, relaxing in her crate/den, or finding the comfiest sunny spot in the house.
Her crate is her safe little haven and she settles beautifully indoors.
Roxy loves a good treatie, enjoys gentle walks, and absolutely loves a swim when she gets the chance. She walks on a haltie leash and would thrive with a confident owner who can provide her with consistency, guidance, and a strong hold out and about.
She has previously lived successfully with a small Maltese, so she could potentially live with another respectful doggo with the right introduction.
Roxy would make a beautiful companion for someone wanting a loyal, loving best friend with a calm and easy-going nature at home. She has such a peaceful presence about her indoors and so much love to give. She’s the kind of dog that simply wants to love and be loved in return, and whoever welcomes her into their home will be very lucky indeed.

⚠️ Assisted rehoming ⚠️
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal. AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation (amount of their choosing) from the successful applicant to AINB, in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred..

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
