About Lollipop
Meet Lollipop 🐩💛
Lollipop is a darling little 7 year and 11 month old Toy Poodle weighing approximately 5kg and standing around 35cm tall.
This sweet ex-breeding lady is now ready to leave her old life behind and finally enjoy everything she has always deserved — soft beds, gentle love, sunny afternoons, and humans of her very own.
Since entering rescue, Lollipop has had all of her veterinary work completed, including a dental with 11 extractions and a scale and polish. Despite everything she has been through, she remains a gentle, loving little soul who is ready to learn what it truly means to be cherished.
🐶 A Gentle Little Lady
Lollipop is soft, sweet-natured, and beautifully dainty. She can be a little shy at first and prefers to quietly observe until she feels safe, but once she trusts you, her affectionate side begins to shine.
She loves cuddling beside her humans, following her foster mum around the house, and curling up anywhere warm and comfortable. She is the type of dog who doesn’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and someone willing to love her at her pace.
Lollipop also has the cutest little personality. She is wonderfully particular about her snacks and isn’t afraid to politely reject food she didn’t “order.” She adores toys and enjoys carrying them around the house and yard like tiny treasures.
🐶 Home Life
Lollipop is toilet trained 99% of the time and has settled beautifully into home life. She is crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate at night, although she also enjoys morning cuddles on the bed when allowed.
She is generally a calm and relaxed little girl who enjoys a peaceful environment, however she does become very excited when her humans return home.
🐶 Other Pets & Children
Lollipop gets along well with the small dogs in her foster home and appears happiest with gentle little companions similar to herself. She often watches the other dogs for guidance, so another calm small dog may help continue building her confidence.
She has not been tested with cats or small animals.
Lollipop prefers quieter environments and is not particularly suited to busy young children. Calm, respectful children aged 5+ may be suitable.
🐶 Exercise & Grooming
Lollipop is not a high-energy dog and is perfectly content with a slower-paced lifestyle. While she previously refused to walk on lead, she recently surprised everyone by happily strolling to the local park at her own gentle pace.
As a Toy Poodle, she will require regular grooming every 6–8 weeks and is very good for grooming appointments, especially when reassured with gentle conversation throughout.
🐶 Her Perfect Home
Lollipop is looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue blossoming into the happy little companion she was always meant to be. She would suit someone patient and gentle who understands that trust takes time, but also knows how rewarding it is when a shy dog finally feels safe enough to love completely.

She is the kind of little lady who needs time, patience, and gentle encouragement to build confidence and learn that new experiences can be safe and enjoyable. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality truly begins to blossom.
Whether it’s learning to enjoy a slow walk to the park, cuddling beside her humans, or joining in with the other dogs, every small step forward with Lollipop feels incredibly rewarding. The family willing to give her the time she needs will be rewarded with a gentle, loving companion who is absolutely worth the wait.
This beautiful little lady is more than ready for her next chapter — one filled with love, comfort, cuddles, and the happy life she has waited so patiently for 💛

- Your current dogs vaccinations up-to-date and have a copy of the certificate to send thru (please contact your vet asap if you don't have a copy)
- Your dog can travel to the carers location
- You are available to attend the meet and greet within the next 7 days

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
