Silvermist (and Tinkerbell) need a foster carer
About Silvermist (and Tinkerbell)
Silvermist is a soft, fluffy grey beauty with a gentle presence that’s hard to resist. She’s perfectly content snoozing on her carer’s bed at any hour of the day (or night!) and enjoys soaking up the fresh air in the outdoor cat enclosure. While wet food isn’t quite her thing, she’ll always be nearby at mealtimes, keeping a curious eye on the action. Silvermist adores curling up with her feline friends, and every so often her playful kitten spirit shines through in bursts of fun and games.
Silvermist came to us from a South Australian shelter around 12 months ago as hissy kitten. She was pretty scared and we spent lots of time getting her used to humans. After some time, she was integrated into the main house in the hope that she would learn from the resident cats. She happy living in the house but she just isn't the type of cat that will curl up on your lap or seek out your affection, but in the right environment she could be.
Silvermist needs a place to call home. She needs an experienced, understanding cat owner, who will give her the chance to thrive and live the life she deserves. Could this be you?
Option 1 – Foster to Adopt
This is a great choice if you would like to foster a cat with a view to adopting them sometime in the next 6 months. During this time all necessary parasite treatments and vaccinations will be covered by the rescue.
Option 2 – Cat’s Cat
If you already have a cat at home and think they would appreciate a companion, this is a lovely way to give one of these cats a home.
Option 3 – Barn Cat
Yes, we have a very strict policy that all Hisses to Purrs cats and kittens must remain indoors BUT for Silvermist, being a working animal may suit her. If you have a property and would be interested in this option, we can provide you with some useful information to make it a successful transition.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule. All new adopters will receive an adoption pack full of information, toys, food and other goodies to help your new cat/kitten settle into their new home.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
