Marvin

Marvin is a 1 year 4 month old Maltese X with a whole lifetime of potential ahead of him. This sweet little guy is full of personality and absolutely loves his food, zooming around the yard with a ball, and being involved in whatever his humans are doing. Marvin is an active young dog who enjoys playtime, enrichment activities, and having opportunities to burn off his energy.

Under the right guidance and with the right home, Marvin has the potential to become a truly rewarding companion. He is still very young and impressionable, and we know there is a beautiful dog in there waiting to continue growing and thriving.

However, Marvin does come with some significant behavioural concerns that potential adopters must carefully consider before applying. Marvin displays concerning redirective behaviours and will require an experienced, committed home willing to invest ongoing time, patience, and management
into his care.

Marvin may require lifelong behavioural medication, and we would strongly recommend that his future family work closely with a qualified veterinary behaviourist to continue his behavioural training and support plan. Ongoing management will be essential to help Marvin succeed and feel safe in his environment.

Due to his behavioural concerns, Marvin cannot be placed in a home with children or elderly individuals. He requires an adult-only home with someone who understands complex canine behaviours and is prepared to provide structure, consistency, and continued training.

We are committed to finding the absolute right match for Marvin, and strict adoption processes will be in place to ensure his future home is suitable for his needs. Marvin deserves a home that sees both his challenges and his potential — and is willing to give him the opportunity to succeed.
