My Ideal Home:
• Familiarity and understanding of my breed traits would be highly valued.
• I'll need daily exercise - walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors - not left outside without interaction.
• As a social and playful pup, I may really enjoy attending doggy daycare.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• I'd love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• Most importantly, I'm looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• When I get excited, I can be a little bouncy, so any children in the home would need to feel comfortable and confident around an energetic, enthusiastic dog joining the family.
• I absolutely LOVE water and would be thrilled to have my own clam pool to splash and relax in.
• Training, training, training - it's essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a gentle, quiet cat.

My Paw-some Perks:
• I'm a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I'm excited.
• I'm highly food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I'm gentle and placid in nature, and I've had some basic obedience training
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I'll only keep improving.
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I'm quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
• I LOVE toys - especially my ball! Fetch and tug-of-war are some of my favourite games.
• I'm exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• Being very scent-driven (it's a breed thing!), I'd excel at scent games and enrichment activities.

Training & Support Needs:
• Although I am very dog friendly and happy to socialize with other doggoes when out and about, I am not happy to share my home and my people with another dog. Therefore I will need a home without existing dogs.
• I haven't had any formal training yet, so I'll need help with all my basic manners and life skills. The good news is I love food and toys, which will make positive training lots of fun and rewarding for me.
• My recall needs work, as I can sometimes ignore you if I'm distracted - this is something we'll need to practice together.
• I can be a little bouncy when excited, but consistent training will help me learn calmer behaviours.
• I'm not housetrained yet, as I haven't previously been allowed inside, so I'll need guidance and consistency to learn.

Please Note: You'll only be able to meet Kiki if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
